I am an absolute sucker for extensive tracks that evolve, change their structure, tell a story and overall keep me on my toes for the entirety of the track's length. OG darksynth is full of those and this remains the main reason why I keep coming back to the classics again and again. Evil Technology is a prime example of this style of music production and it is among the first pieces I think about whenever I need my weekly dose of sinister sound with Ariel ZB on the cover.

Entity: Harvest of Insanity

An interesting blend of horror, synth, and metal flourishes. "Entity" begins an exotic tone I can only describe as Arabic; it's a fun track with some great interplay between the synths and Jon's soloing. "Disintegrate" is Jon featuring Leonardo Rizzo and has a fun beat and a glitchy dubstep break. "Euphoric" is a cool KFDDA track that uses mounting chords and a neat rhythm track with bongos. The "Centauri" songs have simpler synth lines and together with "Harvest" make up the horror segments.
